Contrarily to other rates, in that one of mortality high values in Countries with various characteristics can be noticed. The result of the rate is but to differentiate between poor and industrialized Countries. In the first case mortality is elevated because the insufficient hygienic conditions, that they involve numerous deaths for infectious diseases, famine. In the advances Countries instead there is a progressive increase of the medium age of the population, which had to diminishing of the natality and therefore always greater population in advanced age.
