Republik Singapura
Singapore is a city-state made up of a main island and other smaller islands, located at the southern end of the Malacca Peninsula and separated from Malaysia by a narrow stretch of sea. The strategic position at the mouth of the Strait of Malacca has made Singapore one of the main commercial centers in Asia; given the smallness of the territory and the high population, it is one of the countries with the highest population density on the planet.
